Vin Diesel, styled as a Kirkland brand viking, plays a witch hunter who’s cursed by a witch with immortality. He then proceeds to spend the centuries hunting down witches, which, to me, seems like a miscalculation on the witch’s part in terms of doling out punishments. The movie focuses on modern day witch hunter Vin as he thwarts assassination attempts and tries to figure out why wielders of magic are after him. This movie has pretty good special effects and a relatively star-studded cast, but was overall pretty meh in terms of action and plot.

Vin Diesel finally got himself enough cachet with Hollywood producers that he was able to make a movie with direct D&D references in them AND they didn't cut that dialogue in editing. Dreams can come true if you just make 500 car movies, kids.

What happens when you give a fucking nerd a bunch of money and Hollywood clout. "What if my DnD campaign was a movie" is not a premise that needs to be explored again.

In this movie, I learned that I never want to see Vin Diesel kiss anyone.
